Child of the Storm
See the lightning flash, hear the thunder roll;
Stirring something primal deep in my soul.
The patter of raindrops soothing and serene;
Truly a relaxing, peaceful scene.
Lightning flashes closer now, thunder long and loud;
I close my eyes, and my head is bowed.
The parched land welcomes this sudden rain;
Upon the dry ground a liquid stain.
With tendrils of spirit, I touch the storm's power,
Here in this dark and serene hour.
In tune with the storm, as it rumbles and flashes;
I feel the wind whirl, it's fury as it lashes.
Child of the storm, brother to lightning and winds;
I partake of its majesty, and the power it sends.
See the lightning flash, hear the thunder roll;
Stirring something primal deep in my soul.
The patter of raindrops soothing and serene;
Truly a relaxing, peaceful scene.
Lightning flashes closer now, thunder long and loud;
I close my eyes, and my head is bowed.
The parched land welcomes this sudden rain;
Upon the dry ground a liquid stain.
With tendrils of spirit, I touch the storm's power,
Here in this dark and serene hour.
In tune with the storm, as it rumbles and flashes;
I feel the wind whirl, it's fury as it lashes.
Child of the storm, brother to lightning and winds;
I partake of its majesty, and the power it sends.
